What is an electroencephalograph or EEG?
The EEG or Electroencephalograph is a device that allows recording the electrical activity of the brain through an electro-physiological process. The electrodes are placed along the scalp and it is considered medically minimally invasive.
Applications: The use of EEGs can vary but in general there are two types of EEGs, some of medical nature and others of research nature.
The EEGs of medical or clinical nature, are certified and can be used with patients to treat different types of diseases.
Research EEGs, as its name indicates are used to perform research experimentation for specialized disciplines and laboratories such as: Neuromarketing, Neuro Psychology, Neurofeedback, Brain Computer Interface, among others.

A. Electroencephalograph + fNIR
The EEG with fNIR is an investigation category device specially designed to synchronize the data from the brain's electrical activity and the response of the oxygen level in the blood, also known as hemodynamics. The EEG and fNIR sensors are overlapping each other, allowing the two signals to be recorded simultaneously and to better understand the relationships between them. Some benefits:
1. EEG sensors with active electrodes that bring amplification and digitization from the device with more than 90% correlation with conventional electrodes. 2. Triple-frequency Ulta-Bright LED emitters and amplified detectors offer reliable fNIR measurement through the hair. 3. fNIR optodes arranged around dry electrode EEG sensors for joint EEG and BOLD measurement. 4. Patented artifact-resistant electromechanical designs allow movement in natural environments such as offices or laboratories . Applications: Neurofeedback, Neuroergonomics, Neuromarketing, Brain Computer Interfaces, Psychology Research. |
B. Electroencephalograph with Virtual Reality (EEG + VR)
